Thank you for taking the time to consider Professional Emergency Training for your Health & Safety training needs.
For your information, following is a little bit about myself and our trainings. I am a card carrying Native American Indian with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of the Chippewa Indians. I trained with the Michigan State Police Training Academy and have worked with several ambulance services. I have been an Affiliate Faculty member with the Heart Training Center at Sharp/Grossmont Hospital and Scripps/Mercy Hospital; an American Heart Association Regional Faculty member and a Corporate Medic First Aid Instructor.
I have taught and assisted with Sharp/Grossmont Hospital, Scripps/Mercy Hospital, UCSD Emergency Medical Training Institute, The San Diego Zoo, The United States Navy, United States International University (USIU), La Mesa/Spring Valley School District, City and County of San Diego, Polinsky Center for Children, Qualcomm, Mission Federal Credit Union, DPR Construction, Inc., University Mechanical, Manson Construction, Reyes Construction and have conducted numerous on-site trainings for many area restaurants and businesses.

The Medic First Aid training is a comprehensive training
whose curriculum includes but is not limited to the following:
SETUP & Barriers: Scene Safety and Universal Precautions against disease transmission.
Primary Assessment: Deciding within the first 15 - 25 seconds what protocols your patient requires.
Rescue Breathing: Adult Rescue Breathing (Child & Infant optional).
CPR: Adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (Child & Infant optional).
Choking Management: Foreign Body Airway Obstruction protocols.
Control of Bleeding: Bleeding protocols for the lay person.
Shock Management: Stabilizing the ill or injured patient.
Illness Assessment: Assessing the signs and symptoms of the conscious ill patient.
Injury Assessment: Assessing the conscious patient from "head-to-toe" for any injuries not initially presented by the patient.
Recovery Position: When and How to safely place the conscious patient until EMS arrives.
Home Emergency Plan and First Aid Kit Contents: Home emergency preparedness.
AED: How and when to use an Automatic External Defibrillator.(Additional fee to add this component & I can assist with purchasing and implementing an AED program)

The following is a list of things I will need for your training: Classroom style setting with white or chalk board to write on.
TV (big enough for all to see) & VCR.
Remind the students to dress casual and comfortable because they will be getting down on the floor during mannequin and people practice (no dresses, short skirts or low cut tops).
How to schedule a First Aid & CPR Training:

There is a minimum attendance of 10 students per training. Maximum class size is limited by the size of your training room or facility.
I can train your group of people in one day (7 hours and 1 hour lunch), usually scheduled 8 AM to 4 PM or you have the option of breaking the training into two 4-hour sessions.
Our standard rate for First Aid & CPR is $75 per student includes all the mannequins and supplies for a CAL-OSHA approved training.
Upon successful completion, each participant will receive a visual workbook, home emergency plan, essential skills wallet card, personal protection flyer, wall certificate and completion card valid for 2 years.
We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover, and business check. Payment is due on the day of the training.
